Morpheus8 is a radiofrequency microneedling device meaning it combines the properties and benefits of both radiofrequency technology and microneedling procedures. During treatment ultra-thin needles that emit radiofrequency energy are stamped into your skin to create a controlled injury, which, in turn, prompts collagen and elastin production – the two key proteins responsible for skin firmness, tightness, and smoothness.
What should you expect?
- You should arrive with clean skin, free of make-up.
- Your skin will be numbed with topical numbing cream (some areas may be numbed even more with lidocaine to make the procedure comfortable). Your provider will take extra care to ensure your comfort during your procedure. Comfort measures will be discussed during your consultation.
- After your treatment, you should avoid putting anything on the treated area for 24 hours.
- You will experience mild redness, swelling, and a feeling of warmth in the treated area (similar to a mild sunburn). This usually subsides in a few days.
- You may have some flaking skin
- Noticable results will appear within a couple of weeks. You will notice:
- Improvement in skin texture, tone, and overall appearance
- Reduced appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars
- Decreased volume in targeted areas (if decreased volume is a treatment goal)
- Smoother, more even skin complexion
- Results are noticeable after 1 treatment, but 3-4 treatments may be necessary for full results.

When performed by a qualified professional, Morpheus8 is safe for most skin tones and types. However, patients with hyperpigmentation may be prescribed a hydroquinone cream before and after treatment.
The duration of each treatment takes about 30 minutes. You will numb for 45 minutes prior to treatment. The total appointment time is about 90 minutes.
You will experience some redness, swelling, and possibly skin irritation for 2-3 days. Social downtime can be 3-5 days.
The number of treatments required can vary depending on the individual’s concerns and the area being treated. Results will be noticeable with one treatment, but in many cases, a series of 3 treatments is recommended for optimal results.
A microneedling session with exosomes is $550 (this includes the 1 week long pre-treatment and the 5 day post treatment serums).
Microneedling with PRP is $500. (You may also choose to use some of your PRP as an injectable in certain areas of your face, this can be done for an extra charge)
